MULTAN, July 9: The police claimed to have arrested 14 outlaws involved in robbery, theft and burglary cases. SSP Sikander Hayat told reporters that some 14 outlaws belonging to six different gangs of dacoits and thieves had been arrested after recovering from their possession a sizable quantity of looted items, including cars, motorbikes and jewellery.

He said the arrests of outlaws were made after a joint effort by Cantonment, Mumtazabad, Qutabpur, Pak Gate and Muzaffarabad police stations. — Correspondent
