GUJRANWALA, July 9: A dozen members of a family fainted after drinking milk of a mad cow in Mandiala Ponich, Kamoki, on Friday night. Farmer Aish Muhammad and his family members drank milk of the cow at night and fainted. They were rushed to the civil hospital where their conditions were stated to be out of danger.

Those who fainted are Aish Muhammad, his wife Alia, daughters Maryam, Ishrat, Saba, Razia, Khadija, Iqra, sons Ghulam Nabi, Zohaib, Hamza and Karamat, etc.

SHOT DEAD: A man was shot dead, while three others, including a passer-by, sustained injuries over a money dispute in Musapur, Eminabad, on Saturday.

Shamshad Ahmad was siting at his poultry farm when accused Waris and Ashfaq came there along with their accomplices. They opened indiscriminate firing, killing Shamshad on the spot and injuring his employees Akram, Kaka Gujjar and a passer-by, Nadim.

The injured were rushed to the Mayo Hospital in Lahore in critical condition.
