ISLAMABAD, July 8: The Ambassador of Argentina, His Excellency Mr Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia has shown interest in extending help to Pakistan for promotion of sports including football.

In a meeting on Friday with an official of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) the two also identified polo, tennis, basketball and mountaineering as sports where cooperation was possible.

On the PSB official’s request, the ambassador agreed to meet the Federal Minister for Sports shortly for further discussion and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
