ABBOTTABAD, July 4: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon has urged the people to elect sincere and honest persons in the next local bodies polls so that their problems were solved at their doorstep. He said people should be aware of those who looted and plundered the national wealth and failed to deliver. He was addressing a public meeting in union council Pattan Kalaan. Mr Jadoon said that people of remote and
far flung areas were deliberately deprived of basic amenities and necessities of life during the tenures of People’s Party and Muslim League (Nawaz).
“People should hold accountable all those in the next local bodies polls through ballot and desists from electing those who had breached their trust in the past”.
He said that the present government was committed to developing the least developed areas of the country and it was attaching top priority to electrify villages and supply gas to all areas without any discrimination.
He said within next five years all union councils of the country will have access to clean drinking water. Mr Jadoon said that electricity would be supplied to all the villages of Pattan Kalaan in near future.—APP
