Bomb blast destroys electronics market

MIRAMSHAH June 29: Electronic items worth millions of rupees were destroyed late on Monday night when a time-bomb exploded at an electronics market in the Miramshah Bazaar. However, it did not cause any loss of life. Two of the total 11 shops were completely destroyed while other shops were damaged considerably.

The explosion was heard even in far off localities of the area.

Officials of the political administration and paramilitary forces reached the site soon after the blast and started investigation.

It is to be mentioned here the same market was rocked by blasts some time back following a warning from unidentified men.

They had distributed pamphlets in the Miramshah town which warned those traders and tribesmen of dire consequences who did not wind up their business of obscene cassettes and CDs etc. Later the market was shook by blasts.
