ISLAMABAD, June 28: Pakistan can seek greater market access for its products like rice, fruit pulp, surgical items, sports goods and agricultural products in the Romanian market.
This was stated by Romanian embassy officials led by First Secretary Mircia Hurmuz and consisting of Secretary Tataru Claudiu and Counsellor Stefan Modrea in a meeting with the officials of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Tuesday.
They said Pakistan could import heavy machinery, cranes, steel and raw material from Romania to further enhance the trade relation between the two countries.
He asked the Pakistani businessmen to participate in exhibitions in his country to develop trade relations with Romanian companies. He said Pakistani businessmen would face no problems in getting business visas to visit Romania. The two countries could further build trade relations in a number of fields, he added.
Senior Vice-President of the ICCI Muzammil Sabri said there should be strong relationship between the Central Chamber of Romania and the ICCI.
He said Pakistani businessmen should be facilitated in visas, so that they could easily visit Romania to explore business.
