FAISALABAD, June 25: Doctors of the Allied Hospital brought traffic to a standstill and marched through area roads to protest for the acceptance of their demands here on Saturday. The protesting doctors, both male and female, were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands. They claimed that despite their four-day strike and protest demonstrations, no government official had so far contacted them which was highly uncalled for.
They threatened to stage demonstrations in front of offices of the DCO, health officials and the Clock Tower intersection from Monday if their demands were not accepted.
None of the doctors attended patients in the outdoor and the indoor throughout the day on Saturday as well. — Correspondent
