LAHORE, Jan 10: A fire in a Lahore High Court office partially destroyed the record of about 2000 civil cases early on Thursday.

A sweeper informed an additional registrar when he saw smoke coming out of the locked diary registration and record room at about 7.30 am. A firebrigade reached the spot within minutes, broke open the room and extinguished the fire. — Staff Reporter
