Giving parliament the authority to ratify international treaties

In its manifesto, the PTI says that in its foreign policy it will "seek a constitutional amendment to give parliament the authority to ratify all international treaties after being presented for debate". The amendment, the party believes, will "strengthen the parliamentary system and the voice of the elected representatives".
