The first match between two neighbouring countries played in Quetta ended in a 1-1 stalemate last Sunday with Pakistan getting the equalizer in the closing minutes of the match.

The teams held their practice sessions during the last two days and expressed their satisfaction over the condition of the ground.

So far the two countries have met 19 times with India winning 10 to Pakistan’s two while the remaining seven encounters ended in a draw.

Meanwhile, Indian assistant coach Stanley Rozarrio claimed that his players were better placed having more international exposure. Besides, their world ranking was much higher than Pakistan.

The third Test between the two countries will be played in Lahore.
