PESHAWAR, June 13: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam has said that it wants to enforce the Islamic system in the country, but it needs two-third majority in the National Assembly for getting the legislation passed. This was stated by MNA Maulana Abdul Baes while addressing a gathering at Chaper Yal Mutta, Swat, on Monday, said a JUI press release.

His party did not believe in hypocrisy, he said, adding that when the JUI would bag two-third seats in the assembly, it would be in a position to enforce Shariah.—Bureau Report
