Four killed, 20 hurt as coach overturns

RAJANPUR, June 13: Four people were killed while 20 others sustained injuries in an accident on the Indus Highway near Giyamal Morr here on Monday. A coach (C-2265) of the Baloch Transport, going to Taunsa from Karachi, overturned while saving a woman who appeared on the road abruptly. As a result, Asia Perveen, her daughter Jovaria (5), driver Ghulam Shabbir and Khairan Bibi died instantly while 20 others received injuries. The injured were rushed to the Rajanpur DHQ Hospital.

Those injured were identified as Muhammad Bukhsh, Iqbal, Jarawar Shah, Sadar Din, Atta Muhammad, Muneer, Abdul Haq, Ghulam Khokhar, Alauddin, Ramzan Jogi, Mahboob Jogi, Juma Jogi, Pannu Jogi, Lal Jogi, Tayyab, Ghulam Akbar, Jamshed Qureshy, Zafar Iqbal, Shazia Bibi and Asma Qureshy.

It was learnt that deceased Khairan Bibi, who was behind the incident, was a deranged woman.
