KARACHI, June 9: A training course for players, officials and umpires was arranged at local hotel by Sindh Softball Association (SSA).

Detailed lecturers were given about rules and ethics of the softball and other technical issues, says a release on Thursday.

The participants were briefed through charts about the fielders’ positions and foul lines pitcher, baiter and diamond grounds.

Besides, the importance of umpires and coaches during a match was highlighted.—APP
