150 officials face corruption charge

DADU, June 9: The Anti-corruption committee-II, Dadu, approved registration of corruption cases and departmental proceedings against 150 officials of education, food, revenue and police departments here on Thursday. The committee which met here under its Chairman, Aijaz Ahmed Mangi, DCO Dadu, decided that departmental proceedings would be initiated against the accountant of DPO office Dadu, Haroon Surhio, on corruption charges while senior clerk of the Excise and Taxation office Dadu, Hameed Mangnejo would be charged in the court.

The meeting also decided that departmental enquiries would be initiated against senior clerk of buildings department, Arbab Ali Mallah and chairman Zakat and Ushr committee of Gharibabad Mohalla Dadu, Jan Mohammad Qureshi.

The committee approved to register cases against Mukhtiarkar Dadu, Achar Khaskheli, Naib Qasid Mohammad Hussain, sub-registrar Dadu, Hidayat Ali Khushik, sub-registrar Mehar, Ghulam Mustafa Kalhoro, tapedars Manzoor Bhutto, Abdul Majeed Soomro, Nazeer Soomro, Mohammad Hussain Soomro, Abu Bakar Chandio, tapedar Shahnawaz Soomro, Mehmood Memon and Manzoor Junejo.

The committee also decided to challan accountant of the education department, Abdul Majeed Thahim on charges of embezzlement of Rs2.8 million.

The meeting approved registration of FIRs against PST Allauddin Leghari and head clerk education office sub-division Johi, while cleared departmental proceedings against teachers Sanaullah, Shahid Hussain, head mistress of girls primary school Ms Madina Chauhan and others.
