Rangers sources have denied the PPP's charges that its personnel forcefully ejected Bilawal Bhutto’s chief polling agent, Yusuf Baloch, from a polling station in Lyari.

"Rangers were not deployed inside the polling station, therefore, the question of ejecting Bilawal Bhutto’s chief polling agent from the polling station does not arise," said a paramilitary force official who wished not to be named.

The Rangers official said there had been a scuffle at the polling station after polling ended, which necessitated intervention by the Rangers.

The official added that Yusuf Baloch later on entered the polling station, took part in the counting process, and left after it was completed.
