MQM-P leader Farooq Sattar has cast his vote in Karachi.

Sattar's missus tied an imam zamin to his arm before the two headed towards the polling station.

"The public has never disappointed us in any election ... we will not disappoint them either. These next five years will be the most important of MQM Pakistan's history."

Sattar asked Karachiites to vote for his party so they could push for "a new southern Sindh province".
