Some voters in Karachi's NA-247 constituency have an annoying poll day problem as they are being asked for their silsila number and block code — information which is stored in their mobile phones, but which they did not carry to the polling stations due to ECP's instructions.
Voters are reportedly being sent out of the polling stations to come back with the required information. Some say that the ECP's 8300 messaging service is also lagging due to an onslaught of requests.
Voting supplies such as ink pads are also in limited supply, further adding to the voters' annoyance.
