Frontier Corps personnel conducted intelligence-based operations in Chaman, Dera Bugti and Sui areas of Balochistan and averted major bids of terrorism on the eve of elections, sources within the FC told Dawn.com.

Three suspects with links to banned outfits were arrested during the operations.

The FC also recovered RPG-7 rockets, hand grenades, a prepared improvised explosive device and other arms and ammunition in the process.
