ISLAMABAD, June 3: PPP leader from Balochistan Ghulam Qadir Bugti has alleged that Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Chief Nawab Akbar Bugti is targeting his opponents by keeping them in private jails. Talking to a group of reporters at the PPP media cell here on Friday, Mr Bugti alleged that the JWP chief received ransom from the people for their release.

He said he had also escaped from one of his private jails.

Responding to a question, the PPP leader said he had protested with his party’s leadership when they decided to visit Dera Bugti, but he was asked to remain silent by ARD chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim.—Staff Reporter
