PML-N faces political isolation, says Aleem

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s central Punjab president and NA-129 candidate Aleem Khan has said the PMl-N is now compelled to face ‘political isolation’ and has started alleging rigging ahead of the general elections.

Speaking at different corner meetings in his constituency on Sunday, Mr Khan said a large number of leaders and workers had already left the PML-N owing to Sharifs’ “misdeeds”.

During one of the corner meetings, a PML-N local leader from NA-131 and PP-162, Muhammad Ashraf, announced joining the party along with his supporters. He vowed to run Imran Khan’s campaign in NA-131.

Meanwhile, the PTI’s candidate from PP-157, Mr Shoaib Siddiqui, has alleged that the PML-N activists on Sunday damaged private vehicles and properties in the constituency and demanded the “goonda elements” should be brought to the book.
