New vacancies for hospital

GUJRANWALA, June 2: The provincial government has approved some 100 more vacancies of doctors and paramedical staff besides construction of a neurosurgery department in the DHQ Hospital. This was stated by medical superintendent Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema here on Thursday.

He said some 400 vacancies had already been approved for the hospital’s trauma centre. He said the government had also allocated Rs100 million for the purchase of medical equipment and other machinery for the hospital.

GOVERNOR: Governor Khalid Maqbool is due here on Friday.

The governor will inspect the Punjab University’s campus and distribute prizes and certificates.

Later, he will review development projects of the Rachna College of Engineering and Technology.
