SARGODHA, June 2: People of Pakistan were moderate and peace loving whereas Western media was projecting one-sided image of the country due to some incidents of bomb blasts, says Swedish ambassador Ms Ann Wilkens. Speaking at the Sargodha Press Club here on Thursday, she said that freedom of press was necessary for democracy and nation building besides prosperity and stability of a country.

On its part, she said, media should realize its responsibility while reporting issues of national importance. — Correspondent
