PTI govt looted exchequer: Iftikhar

NOWSHERA: ANP central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain has alleged that PTI government looted the public exchequer by initiating tsunami trees scheme, beautification of Peshawar and Bus Rapid Transit project.

Addressing a public meeting in Pabbi, he said that public meetings of PTI chairman Imran Khan were like musical concerts.

He said that people would for vote for ANP on July 25 as the party was true representative of Pakhtuns.

Meanwhile, addressing party workers, ANP provincial chief Ameer Haider Khan said that Pervez Khattak was unlucky chief Minister as he did nothing for the people his constituency.

He said that PTI government failed to initiate any mega project in the district.

Mr Hoti said that NAB had initiated probe into corruption of Pervez Khattak, who always called other politicians corrupt.

He said that PTI chairman was issuing false statements regarding reforms in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

He added that people of the province saw the real face of PTI.

“The corruption of PTI government can be judged from the fact that the treasure lies empty after its five year tenure.

The province is in debt of Rs300 billion and caretaker government is unable to pay salaries to the employees,” said Mr Hoti.

Meanwhile, PML-N candidate for NA-26 Haji Nawab Khan and candidate for PK-63 Ikhtiar Wali Khan said that Imran Khan should stop dreaming about becoming prime minister.

They said that the next prime minister would also belong to PML-N.

Addressing a public meeting in Nowshera Cantonment they said that people were joining MPL-N in the district that proved t popularity of the party.

They said that PML-N would form next government after the elections.

Also, former chief minister Pervez Khattak addressed a public meeting in Nowshera Kalan and said that leaders of other parties were joining PTI owing to its performance in the province.

He claimed that PTI would sweep the upcoming elections not only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but in the other provinces and centre.
