'I am coming to Pakistan to face prison,' says defiant Nawaz after guilty verdict

Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, while addressing a press conference in London, said that he has been punished because he tried to turn the course of Pakistan's 70-year history.

"I promise that I will continue this struggle until Pakistanis are free of the chains that they are kept in for saying the truth."

Though he said he's coming back to Pakistan to face jail, he demurred when asked for a specific time or date, citing the ill-health of his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz.
