Shame politicians all you want, but through the power of vote
The elections 2018 campaigns have spawned a troubling fad, which is to confront poll hopefuls, berate and heckle them, or in some cases, even resort to violence.
The practice is being fanned by the increased airtime they're being given in the mainstream media and could lead to violence — one of Dawn's editorials today explains.
The write-up suggests to the voters that if they want to register their protest, the best way to do that would be through the power of their vote and not by public shaming.
