LAHORE, May 30: Some Punjab University teachers have urged Governor Khalid Maqbool to hold an open court in the varsity to know the ‘real issues’. The governor started his three-day visit to various PU departments on Monday.

Talking to Dawn, the teachers said the administration had been presenting a rosy picture of the university affairs to the governor and keeping him in dark on financial and administrative irregularities.

They said that numerous financial irregularities had been pointed out even in the report of the Auditor General of Pakistan.

They said if the governor assured that no one would be victimized for revealing the truth, they would present evidence of their claim.
