MML's chances of contesting elections don't look so good

Milli Muslim League (MML) has yet again failed to get itself registered as a political party.

The Election Commission of Pakistan — which had been asked by Islamabad High Court to decide anew on the registration of MML as a political party — has again rejected the group's application.

What's standing in MML's way? The party's alleged links with the banned Jamaatud Dawa's (JuD) leader Hafiz Saeed — which the Interior Ministry has expressed reservations over on multiple occasions.

In today's hearing, the MML reiterated that it had no links with the JuD and neither does its chief, Saifuddin Khalid, with Saeed.

Find out what else the MML had to say here.
