Did Aamir Liaquat finally get the PTI ticket he wanted?

It seems that what Aamir Liaquat wants (at least from the PTI), Aamir Liaquat gets.

Liaquat had been pretty vocal earlier in the week about his displeasure at not getting a party ticket to contest the polls, lashing out at the PTI’s Karachi chapter president for 'refusing' to give him a ticket.

After Liaquat's outburst (read:veiled threat), PTI chief Imran Khan reportedly advised him not to make any hasty decisions, assuring him that tickets would be awarded after a review by the party's parliamentary board and would not hinge on the opinion of any single individual.

When a fan asked him on Twitter whether it was confirmed that he would be running on a PTI ticket from Karachi's NA-245 seat, he responded: "Yes, Alhamdullilah.

However, there's no word from the PTI on the development yet.

The party is keeping mum on the list of tickets awarded to candidates for now, but an announcement is expected some time today.
