LAHORE, Jan 8: Government Post Graduate College, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi defeated Government College, Shadbagh Lahore 2-0 in  the opening match of the Punjab  University  Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championship at the APWA College courts on Tuesday.

Naushaba  defeated  Sidra  Shahid 11-6, 11-7  in  the  first singles match.

Naushaba and Saima doubled the lead when they outplayed Sidra and Amna in doubles by 15-11, 15-8.
