MIRPURKHAS, May 25: A married woman and a man were killed on the pretext of karo-kari in the Mian Khan Bhurgari village, deh 218, Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka, on Wednesday. Jalal Solangi axed his wife Debai 30, to death. She was mother of three. The accused also axed Khalid Lashari,35, to death as he had suspected him of having illicit relations with his wife.

The bodies were brought at taluka hospital for autopsy.

Police lodged a double murder case against the accused, who later surrendered himself before the police.

SUICIDE: A married woman committed suicide by taking pesticide in Laar village near Khipro town on Tuesday.

Ms Zahida, wife of Moula Bux Kumbhar, 28, consumed pesticide and fell unconscious.

She was shifted to Khipro taluka hospital where she died.

The cause behind the suicide is said to be domestic affair.
