MIRPURKHAS, May 20: Pakistan People’s Party leader Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur has condemned police attack on human rights activists in Lahore. Mr Talpur said here on Friday in a statement that attack on human rights activists could not be tolerated by the democratic forces who would raise their voice on all issues.

He said the PPP would not allow any body to play with the ideological foundations of the country. The elements, who were thrusting the theory of human inequality in Tharparkar would be defeated by patriotic forces, he added.

He also expressed his concern over the kidnapping of a 12- year-old scheduled caste boy from chief minister’s village Khetlari at the hands of armed men and asked the human rights organizations to raise the issue at their forums.
