Car bomb kills two in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, May 11: At least two people died and 34 were injured on Wednesday when militants opposed to the trans-Kashmir bus service detonated a huge car bomb in occupied Kashmir’s main city, police said. A police officer and a state government official were killed in the blast in Srinagar that hurled pieces of the car 300 meters away and sent people fleeing in panic.—AFP
