PTCL sell-off plan rapped

FAISALABAD, May 10: Hundreds of PTCL employees demonstrated here on Tuesday to protest against the government’s privatization policy. Wearing black armbands, the PTCL workers gathered outside the central exchange in Chiniot Bazaar and chanted slogans against the government. Banners and placards in their hands were inscribed with slogans against the PTCL sell-off plan.

The protesters marched through various city roads and staged sit-ins in front of the offices of the district nazim and the press club. They also took a round of the Clock Tower and returned to the central exchange.
