Shahbaz meets Turkish delegation

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Pakistan’s close contacts with Turkey are transforming into a strong economic collaboration.

Talking to a delegation of Zorlu Enerji Group of Turkey in Lahore, he termed establishment of a solar power plant by the famous Turkish business group as an important development.

During the meeting, different matters pertaining to a 100 megawatt power project at Quaid-e-Azam solar power plant in Bahawalpur also came under discussion.

Mr Sharif said the provision of cheap electricity to the people will be possible through the proposed project.

The Turkish investor group will set up a 100 MW solar power plant in Punjab.
