NAWABSHAH, May 9: Police on Sunday booked 21 people for chopping and stealing trees of the Kot Dhangano forest. Forest officer Allah Wasayo Jamali lodged an FIR (04/05) at the Mehrab Raho police station.

He said that during routine patrolling of the forest, he found that Hussain Jatoi, Hassan, Mashooq, Lal Mohammad, Mohammad Ali, Wali Mohammad, Channesar, Ali Hassan and Kando were loading wood in camel-carts from the compartment No-3, 11, 21, 22 and 23 of the protected forest.

A case was registered against them under the Forest Act.
