LAHORE, May 7: An eight-member Indian delegation, led by its Indus Water Commisoner D. K. Mehta, reached here on Saturday for three-day talks on the Kishan-Ganga power house dispute. The delegation was received by Pakistan’s Indus Water Commissioner Syed Jamaat Ali Shah and other senior officials.

According to Mr Shah, the talks would begin on Sunday and last till Tuesday. The Indian delegation would leave for India on Wednesday. Pakistan is opposing the power house which India is planning by diverting the water of the Neelum River, saying it was a violation of the Indus Basin Treaty.
