DHA Blues and Navy triumph

KARACHI, May 5: Pakistan Navy and DHA Blues emerged victorious in their respective matches in the 14th KCCA Trophy Inter-departmental cricket tournament Wednesday. Navy defeated Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) by a convincing margin of 155 runs at the UBL Sports Complex. Batting first, Navy made 285 for five in 40 overs with Ali Asad top-scoring with 81 which included eight fours. Tanvir Hussain hit 71 with seven boundaries.

CAA, in reply, were bundled out for 130 in 22 overs with slow left-armer Imran Ali and medium pacer Farman Shah sharing six wickets between them.

At the KCCA Stadium, DHA Blues overwhelmed Habeen & Company by 150 runs.
