KARACHI, May 5: Syed Ziaul Hasan Mohani, father of Syed Faridul Hasan Mohani, a system operator in the Dawn Group of Newspapers, died in Kanpur (India) after a protracted illness. He was 72. Ziaul Hasan was a nephew of Hasrat Mohani.

He is survived by five sons, two daughters besides the widow.
