Suspects at large

GILGIT, May 3: At least 150 suspects wanted by police for murder, arson and other crimes are still in hiding and police are trying to track them down. This was stated by Northern Areas Assistant Inspector-General Dilpazeer and Gilgit district Superintendent of Police Raji Rahmat while talking to journalists here on Tuesday.

They said that that after the January 8 violence in Gilgit, around 127 crimes of different nature had been committed by the militants, including murder of 24 people and attempted murder of 22 others, infliction of injuries to 24 and burning of 26 official and private vehicles.
