JACOBABAD, May 2: A man and his son were shot dead over a land dispute near Bahoo Khoso in Thul on Monday. The police said one Nawabuddin Khoso killed his elder brother Nizamuddin 45, and his son Fazal Haq Khoso, in Faiz Muhammad Khoso village over dispute on agriculture land.

Bahoo Khoso police reached on the spot and shifted the bodies to taluka hospital Thul for post-mortem. No case was registered till the filing of this report.

OMBUDSMAN: The provincial ombudsman, Mr Yousuf Jamal visited Jacobabad and met with DCO Shamsuddin Soomro here on Monday.

He took serious notice of contaminated water being supplied to the citizens of Jacobabad.

He also visited civil hospital besides inspecting water supply schemes.
