28 robberies in Faisalabad in 24 hours

FAISALABAD, Aug 25: Robbers made off with cash, gold ornaments and other valuables besides 16 motorcycles, a car, a wagon and a bus in 28 strikes in the district during the last 24 hours.

Three highwaymen deprived Hamid Ali of his motorcycle (FDS-5362) from Naamat Colony, while two bandits took away the motorcycle (FDS-3761) and Rs11,000 in cash of powerloom owner Khalid Mahmood in Ayub Colony at gunpoint.

Three gunmen snatched a motorcycle (FS-4997) from shopkeeper Iqbal, and a motorcycle (FSA-6844) and Rs8,000 in cash from trader Muhammad Ramzan in Batala Colony.

Two highwaymen drove away with the motorcycle (FDS-8444) of Shahzad Rafiq on Satiana Road.

Two masked bandits took away Sufian’s motorcycle (FSA-4822) from Chak 52-JB, Tahir’s motorcycle (LDT-1833) from Tariqabad, Ahmad Hasan’s motorcycle (LOZ-2320) from the district council secretariat and Sajjad Ahmad’s motorcycle (FDZ-8509) from Taj Colony.

Gunmen deprived Amir Khan of his motorcycle (FSA-4334) on Soosan Road, student Ikhlas Husain and Khalid Ahmad of their bikes (BAB-4957) on Sargodha Road and Naveed Ahmad of his motorcycle (FD-1512) from Kutchery Bazaar.

Zaheer was deprived of his motorcycle (FDG-3619) from Chak 202 RB, Shabbir from a village in Samundri and Zubair from Chak 87 GB.

Abdul Majid was deprived of his car (LRA-737) from Ghausia Chowk of Batala Colony while Babar Iqbal of his bus on Faisalabad-Jhang Road and transporter Sultan Mahmood of his wagon from Peoples Colony.

Four masked bandits robbed Rs100,000 in cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from the house of Altaf Gujjar in Chak 486 GB while cash and gold taken away from Arshad’s house in Ghulam Muhammadabad.

Highwaymen snatched gold ornaments and cash from a couple in Yasinabad in Batala Colony.

Thieves took away costly articles and gold ornaments from the house of Arif Ali in Hafeezabad.

Three masked men snatched thousands of rupees in cash from trader, Usman, near Bakar Mandi.

Thieves took away valuables worth thousands of rupees by unlocking a shop in Warispura, while robbers took away cash, gold ornaments and electric appliances from the house of Bheek Awan in Nawabanwala.

Unknown thieves took away costly articles from the shop of Sabir on LCM Road in the Factory Area, while labourer Sadiq was deprived of his bicycle and cash in the Nizamabad area.
