LANDI KOTAL, Aug 24: Two people were killed when an oil tanker overturned near Soori Pul on Jamrud Road in Khyber Agency on Saturday night.

The oil tanker (Peshawar-E 5469) was heading for Landi Kotal when it skidded off the road and overturned, killing the cleaner on the spot. The driver died in a hospital.

The names of the victims could not be ascertained. However, it was said that the cleaner was an Afghan national while the driver belonged to Sadda, Kurram Agency.

The bodies were received by the Al-Rasheed Trust for onward handing over to their relatives.
