LAHORE, Jan 4: Former chief minister Manzoor Wattoo, facing three references of misuse of Baitul Maal fund, on Friday expressed willingness to pay more if the court deemed it appropriate.
Arguing on the application on his bargain plea, the defence counsel submitted that the main accused and five others implicated in the reference as co-accused had already paid Rs10.07 million. But the NAB had been asking to pay another Rs1.6 million.
The court fixed Jan 12 to decide about the application.—APP
