100 arrested in operation

SUKKUR, Aug 9: More than 100 persons were detained on Friday and Saturday in an operation launched by the Bhambhor Riffles against outlaws in the RD-109 area on the Sindh-Balochistan border.

The Bhambhor Riffles personnel cordoned off two villages of the Bugti tribe and set 20 houses of alleged outlaws ablaze.

The officials deputed in the area told journalists that they had detained the people for investigation and seized a big quantity of arms and ammunition.

Those detained included Noor Hassan Nasirani, Mithoo Jakhrani, Bukhsh Ali, Rasool Bukhsh, Todo, Rahim Dad, Abdul Karim, Wali Mohammad Malik, Ramzan Marhato, Badal Malik, Todo Jakhrani, Aziz, Jamal and Qurban Lashari.
