KARACHI, Aug 5: Twin brothers Samad and Saad Baloch of Hyderabad clinched the junior doubles title of the Karachi Club Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship at the Club’s courts on Tuesday.

The brothers defeated Talha Dar and Anil Das of Karachi Club 6-2, 6-1.

In other events of the day, Adnan Khan (KC) outclassed Samad Baloch in the Under-18 junior finals 6-2, 6-0 and Ali As ghar Bandeali of Karachi Grammar School ousted Ghulam Abbas Panju in the U-14 final 6-2, 7-5.

In the ladies event Amna Hameed beat Marium Khawar in a league match 6- 0, 6-0. Ammna has already qualified for the ladies final to be played at a later stage.

Zahid Hussin and Akbar Hayat Khan won the veterans doubles beating Yaqoob Admani and Zakaria Ali Mohammad 8-1 on best of 15 basis.
