Three killed, 37 injured in accident

DADU, Aug 4: Three people were killed and 37 others injured when a coach overturned in the Wahur village near Bhan Saeedabad on Sunday night.

The Larkana-bound passenger coach (P 2121), coming from Karachi, fell into a ditch after it overturned.

Police constables Abdul Ghafoor Jatt, 30, a resident of Mirpurkhas, and Ali Hassan Khoso, 35, a resident of the Samaro town, and Hooran, 20, daughter of Mohammad Murad Bhatti, a resident of Shahdadkot, were killed in the accident.

Those injured were identified as Gada Hussain, Abdul Majeed, Shaukat Ali, Gul Hassan, Pehalwan, Mumtaz Ali, Asghar, Abdul Hameed, Ghaus Bux, Javed, Hanifa, Mohammad Moosa, Peerano, Mohammad Imran, Haleema, Haleema, Janoo, Suleman, Anita, Pooja, Ghulam, Manzoor, Ghulam Shabbir, Mohammad Mithal, Manthar, Mashooq, Faiza, Koro, Abdul Hameed, Shafi Mohammad, Bhagul, Faizoo, Sawali, Abdul Ghani, Pathani, Ali and Haider.

The medical superintendent of the Bhan Saeedabad Hospital, Dr Mumtaz Channa, told this correspondent that 10 of the injured were shifted to the Dadu Civil Hospital because of their critical condition.
