PESHAWAR, Aug 2: District and sessions judge Hayat Ali Shah on Saturday summoned an SHO in a habeas corpus petition against the detention of a boy in connection with a triple murder case.
The court directed the SHO of Gulbahar police station to appear on Aug 4. The application was filed by Arif Jawed, father of Anees Jawed, the detainee.
The applicant said his son was in UK at the time of occurrence. He said Anees had not been produced before any court and his detention, since July 30, was illegal.
Two weeks ago, Samer Zia alias Sunni was killed at his residence with his friend Imran and watchman Jhangraiz. Police are clueless about the murder and have since taken into custody many people but have not produced them to a court of law.
