SKARDU, July 26: The body of a German mountaineer who had died in an accident on the K-2 on Monday, had not been found yet as inclement weather hindered the rescue work, sources told Dawn.

Klaus Dieter Grous fell into a deep gorge during a storm in a bid to scale the peak with 11 other mountaineers of a Swiss-German expedition.

His wife, who as a member of the team, has returned from camp-three.
