FAISALABAD, July 26: A youth allegedly axed to death his sister over suspicion of bad character in Chak 419-GB on Saturday.

Kausar was working in her house when her brother Wilayat Ali attacked her with an axe. She sustained serious wounds and died on way to hospital. The accused fled from the scene after committing the crime.

Police have registered a case on the report of the girl’s father, Ghulam Sarwar.
