KARACHI, July 26: The provincial minister for population welfare, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, has said that President Musharraf is paying special attention to solve the problems of Sindh.
Addressing a public meeting organized by the Young Generation Welfare Association in Landhi on Saturday, the minister denied any political dispute among coalition partners in Sindh.
He said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, being the major ruling party, was playing an important role in development of the province, while the Sindh Democratic Alliance, being a coalition partner, was also consulted in all matters for progress in Sindh.
Terming the reports about the chief minister’s resignation totally baseless, Mr Shaikh described Sardar Ali Muhammad Khan Maher as the unanimous leader of the House of all the coalition parties. — APP
